This was actually a good belt until the lever cracked and completely broke off. It did last me almost 4 years. The belt is made of good quality material, but the lever, isn’t good metal. Other companies make a belt similar to this with a higher grade metal for the lever.

Easily 10-15lbs more on squats with this. Feels more secure and forces me to tighten that ab when squat or deadlift.
I have two of these belts at home. My old belt lasted me 3 years and had no issues. But my bro’s new belt came with loose screws. After 3 weeks, we were looking for the missing screw, and thought we have to return it.
We contacted Shiek official site and they promptly assisted me via email. I thought I was getting a new screw to tighten the belt (i had gone to Home Depot to get a temp replacement, which worked out just fine), we actually received a whole new bucket sets (buckle, bracket, and screws.) All these were handled in less than 4 days. I am very impressed with their customer service rep – Derek Nelson.

This is an excellent “softer” weightlifting belt. This is not intended to be a “stiff” leather belt. The buckle hasn’t failed and stays secure. The placement of the buckle is easy to adjust — can use a screwdriver and I have used a dime to tighten/loosen the screws when I didn’t have a screwdriver.

After several adjustment sets, my mojo came on strong. This belt is a beast.

I have used a belt for heavy lifts only for the last 20 years. My previous normal buckle belt finally wore out and I decided to replace it with a lever closing belt. First of all I wear 33″ waist jeans and ended up purchasing the medium size. After a bit of adjusting following a few workouts, the lever ended up right in the middle of the adjustment holes. I didnt mind paying more for the quality Schiek name brand because I always will buy a product with the idea “you get what you pay for”. I expect this belt to last me another 20 years.

if you are going heavy, you NEED this
Concerned Consumer –
It deserves 2 star but I am leaving one due to fact it came rusted. It is not real leather …and it feels pretty heavy, way softer than inzer belt.
I love the company but this product is not pro level or any level …schiek pls fix this …
Best part of it the printed beautiful logo …
